International Conference on Theory and Practice of Digital Libraries

The European Conference on Research and Advanced Technology for Digital Libraries (ECDL) has been the leading European scientific forum on digital libraries for 14 years.

From the 15th edition on 2011 the conference has a new name:

International Conference on Theory and Practice of Digital Libraries

The conference will continue to bring together researchers, developers, content providers and users in the field of digital libraries.

New Executive Board

The steering committee has nominated the new executive board:

  • Christos Papatheodorou as Chair
  • Stefan Gradman as a Deputy Chair

Both members will be in charge for the period 2012-2015.

Recognition to
Costantino Thanos

Due to the great contribution over the year in the digital library field, he has been awarded the honor SC membership. Thanks to this recognition, Constantino Thanos will participate permanently to the Steering Committee.
